Treasure Island 

Oh I enjoyed this!
'... get wisdom.  Though it cost you all you have, get understanding'  Proverbs 4:7 

By implication receiving wisdom involves effort. 
The temptation is to take the easy path ... the foolish path ... the treacherous path.

'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on you own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.'[Proverbs 3:5,6]

The key to persistence is found in a right evaluation of the end product.  We are to look for it 'as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure'. [Proverbs 2:4] 

We are on Treasure Island, searching for wisdom and understanding!
Few get tired looking for hidden treasure!
