Dig Deep!
Remember, O God, that my life is but a breath; my eyes will never see happiness again. Job 7:7
Job was hit with colossal life tragedies in terms of family, business and health.
It’s no surprise, therefore, that Job vocalises his feelings in terms of the verse above.
In times like this you need to dig deep …
and draw on what faith you have …
and look to God.
Job’s fortunes were restored … big time … and he lived to 140 years.
When the past hurts and the future is uncertain,
-
we need to live one day at a time
-
and count our blessings …
-
and the change will come.
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Hab 3:17-18
